Customer Relations Coordinator - Full Time

Louisa County Water Authority has an immediate opening for a Customer Relations Coordinator. The Customer Relations Coordinator acts as a liaison between the Authority and its customers. Job responsibilities include providing general and clerical support functions to help maintain daily office operations as well as management of key programs crucial to the success of the Authority.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, can multi-task, can work independently as well as part of a team, and has excellent customer service skills. The successful applicant is proficient with Microsoft Office products, has strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and demonstrates initiative to learn the ins and outs of the water and sewer business.

Work is performed in a busy office environment alongside highly proficient LCWA employees and under the direction of the Business Operations Manager. This position is a non-exempt level position with pay starting at $17 per hour.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and have a high school diploma, or the equivalent. An associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, business, or a related field is preferred. Prior office experience is a plus.

Louisa County Water Authority has been proudly serving the community since its incorporation in 1968. Our goal is to provide top quality drinking water to every tap in our system around the clock and to exceed all regulatory mandates when returning effluent back to the environment. The Authority operates one water treatment plant, four well systems, one raw water system, and three wastewater treatment plants. We are continuing to expand and grow with an additional water treatment plant slated to come online in the near future. As we acquire new facilities and additional customers, we are looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable individuals to join our team.
